Wonderful story about an older woman named Goldie and her
granddaughter, Anna who take a two- week road trip together to San
Francisco from New York .
The story about Goldie’s earlier life in San Francisco, rich in detail, melds
with Anna’s story; and this beautiful novel is told within the context of their
brief rapprochement after a five- year long estrangement. This very poignant
story is well written and a delight to read.
